Annotations / Re: Make Annotation highlights exportable to PDF
« Last post by Gawie on February 03, 2017, 05:12:56 PM »
Thanks Jan. I never saw your reply at the time, but started wondering about the issue again more than 18 months later!

All I'm trying to achieve is to be able to print/export the revised ID document with the highlights still showing. But I can't figure out how they're applied in the document. I can see the colour swatches but not where/how they are used. Can you help with advice on how I can approach this?

this can be doe to one of the following reasons:
1/ your DTP Tools Cloud app is not running while you use InDesign
2/ You are signed out in the app
3/ your subscription expired

If none of these worked, please contact us at support (at) so we can assist you further

I tried unsuccessfully to deal with this before, but I purchased credit to convert FM to ID files. I updated the ID version and was told that a new plugin would come out. Years passed and I see now you have a cloud version that might have the mif to InDesign conversion. Is there a way to restore unused credit that was impossible to use?
Annotations / Annotations for INDD: All the features are grayed out except "clear all"

I have annotations installed on a PC and all the features are grayed out except "clear all". So we cannot import the annotations. Do you know why this is? Thanks!

Hello and apologies for the delayed response. Best workaround for this solution would be to install a newer version of the plug-in, that is installed via the DTP Tools Cloud app . To use MIF Filter you do not need to subscribe to the cloud, just create your account and when you see the pages are converted to your liking, you can purchase the page credit to save them.

I tried to install you MIF Filter for Adobe InDesign.

However, it does not find my CS6 installed and quits.

I have CS6 installed in the following location:
D:\Program Files\Adobe InDesign CS6

I tried running your .msi file from my Downloads folder and I also tried running it from the D Drive.

Can you help me figure out why your file cannot find my installation?
Feature requests / Re: Request for InDesign 2017 version of DTP CLoud

Hi Terre,
unfortunately no point in trying today, as the plug-ins are not yet CC2017 ready. The good news is that we finally received the development resources for this version today and we plan to start releasing first updated plug-ins next week.
We apologize for delaying your upgrade.

I just installed ID 2017 and DTP Cloud does not work with it on the Windows side. I will try the Mac side later today.
